Web Programmer

EZ Results is a fast growing automotive marketing agency and is looking for a Programmer to join our development team.

Who We Want

We specialize in the Microsoft ASP.NET platform with extensive use of complementary web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX. The chosen candidate must have a great sense of leadership. He or she will be a resource person that will participate on several projects as an analyst and a programmer for our growing customer base.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ability to write efficient and reusable code following best practices
• Ability to interact with customers at different developing stages of a project in order to analyze and identify their needs
• Address the technical challenges with creativity and optimize the use of resources on a given project
• Comfortable in an environment with tight deadlines
• Web Development using primarily ASP.NET, C#, CMS based web applications (Umbraco), and other client side and server side frameworks and technologies.
• Maintaining and improving existing websites and applications
• Integrating new solutions into existing platform
• Working closely with other staff members such as project managers, marketing specialists, content managers and web designers.
• Great ability to learn.
• Initiative to work independently, but also able to work effectively with team members.

Technical Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience as a programmer
• Experience in technical analysis
• Advanced skills in C#, VB.NET, MVC,HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, WordPress, CMS and ORM concepts
• Advanced skills in .NET Standard, .Net Core, Web API, IIS, MS SQL Server, SPA database development and support is required.
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
• Expertise in n-tiered web architectures and related technologies (XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, etc.)
• Experience integrating with third party web API’s and security protocols, such as Odata endpoints, OAuth etc.
• Experience utilizing Agile development methodologies (or similar)
• Proficient understanding of Code versioning tools like Git

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree in computer science (REQUIRED).
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multiple project environment
• Proven ability to work in teams and to build effective working relationships, as well as ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, communication skills and demonstrated track record of creative problem solving & solution development
